SOLO EXHIBITION

I gathered here some of the things I collected and produced in my atelier during last three years. A fly landed on a picture of a horse, a self-portrait where I like to look at the sun, a discarded picture bord from a bankrupt airline company, a portrait of a writer who gives me strength, flying leaves, a dry plant still planted in the soil, a portrait of my father depicting him as a child, a hand of a woman touching the flowers, an empty double bed, a dry pine cone. I keep my mortal life alive with happenings that are anxious but also resilient.
Tiny Office Art, a project developed by the Counsellor for Cultural Affairs, Suzi Ersahin, aims to show women artists living and working in Turkey by installing their work in regular offices. Only the visitors of the office will be able to view the art work but it will also be on social media and the webpage of that workplace. A very modest way to shine a spotlight on some of the exciting women artists in Turkey.
